"Corrective Rape" the case of Olga Zajac and Viktor Jasinski

Around 2010 and 2011 there was a article published by the Daily mail , this article discuss a story of which where a male (Viktor Jasinski ) robbed a salon in Russia and then the owner (Olga Zajac) beat him up,tied him up and then raped him for three days straight only feeding him Viagra for those three days.

Now there is a lot of speculation saying that this article isn't true such as in the comments and all around the internet. But that's not the problem the problem is the reaction to this shocking news story. She has fan pages all over Facebook (link below) and in the comments we have people supporting her and making fun of the rape victim. But i find this disturbing that males are objectified to the point where its okay to be raped by someone as long as the victem have done something against the law and many people are saying that it's "Corrective rape", That its okay to be raped and to be forced fed Viagra as long as you've done something wrong in the first place. This is where i believe the news media has let us down they give us the idea that this Olga Zajac is a hero that she is in fact innocent of all crimes. This is another prime example of why and how men are objectified and we can see this by switching the roles of these characters. If we saw this and the genders were switched around where a female robbed a salon and a male bet her up, tied her down and raped her. we would be calling for this mans head. Instead this woman is being praised and is seen as hero. while the victim of the rape is being made fun of again and again.I believe this is a prime insight into how males are treated. We can see this through this news articles use of language where they compare this mans horrible ordeal to the movie "pulp fiction" where the two men are in a similar case. If this was in a different case like i said before the news article would be about how a brave women survived the tragic ordeal and would show the male as a monster. But we don't see this, we see through the use of language that this women is seen as a hero and this man as a laughing stock that can be compared to a movie which had a similar case.
